Zimbabwe’s state power utility, ZESA, is recruiting top management—including a chief finance officer—following the group’s restructure into a consolidated integrated company.
The company, which has engaged human resources consultancy firm Head Hunters International to conduct the recruitment, also seeks to hire a treasury senior manager, and directors for audit and compliance, and supply chain services and procurement.
Following the structural consolidation – entailing the rebundling of its subsidiary companies into one utility – ZESA confirmed Cletus Nyachowe a chief executive, and appointed a new board chaired insurance veteran, Albert Nduna.
ZESA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Mutapa Investment Fund, Zimbabwe’s sovereign wealth fund, which manages the utility to commercially to align with national economic growth and energy self-sufficiency targets.
