Old Mutual lists on VFEX

Old Mutual has formally exited the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE), clearing the final regulatory hurdle ahead of the resumption of trading on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX) next week.
The ZSE said the financial group’s securities were officially terminated from its main board with effect from August 6, paving the way for the financial services group’s scheduled debut on the US dollar-denominated bourse on August 12.
The delisting follows approval by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe, which authorised the removal of Old Mutual from the ZSE’s official list in line with the Securities and Exchange Act.
“The ZSE Limited hereby notifies the investing public of the migration of Old Mutual Limited from the ZSE to the VFEX, with effect from 6 August 2026,” the exchange said.
Old Mutual securities have been suspended on the ZSE since June 2020.
The migration ends Old Mutual’s long association with the ZSE and is expected to strengthen the VFEX’s position as Zimbabwe’s preferred market for large corporates seeking a US dollar-denominated trading platform.
