Investors are keenly awaiting Finance minister Mthuli Ncube 2026 mid-term national budget review, with expectation the treasury chief will introduce measures that promote activity on the stock market, investment advisory firm Morgan & Co. said.
Ncube is set to present the budget review on Thursday amid growing investor and business expectation for authorities improve the ease of doing business.
“Ahead of the mid-year national budget review, market participants will be closely monitoring potential fiscal interventions and policy signals,” Morgan & Co said in its weekly note.
“The market will also be watching for measures aimed at boosting activity on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, following Finance minister’s indication that transaction costs could be lowered,” the equities research firm said.
