Zimbabwe has so far earned around $814,96 million from tobacco sales since the start of the marketing season in March.
According to the Zimbabwe Tobacco Association (ZTA), a combined total sold stood at 325,982,613 kg at an average USD 2.50 per kg on day 69.
Flue-cured-Virginia sales figures were: auction 25,491,220 kg sold average $1.85 per kg; contract 300,491,393 kg sold at average $2.56 per kg.
“On this day in 2025, 292,501,135 kg were sold at average $3.36 per kg.” ZTA said.
