CBZ declares $10 million final dividend

CBZ Holdings Limited (CBZ) has declared a US$10 million final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2025, after the institution – Zimbabwe’s largest financial group – reported a solid performance for the year.
“…the board declared a final dividend of US$10,000,000 (US1.61 cents per share) for the year ended 31 December 2025 payable in respect of all the ordinary shares of CBZ,” the group said.
This dividend will be payable in full to all shareholders of the company registered as at 8 May 2026, with payment taking place on or about 15 May 2026. 
CBZ recorded a 760 percent surge in profit after tax to ZWG 1.445 billion during the period under review.
Total assets stood at ZWG 41.149 billion, up 19.6 percent – indicating strong asset base expansion – while total deposits were over US$1 billion, underscoring high market confidence.
Total advances increased to ZWG 9.138 billion, buoyed by support to productive sectors such as agriculture (tobacco, wheat) and mining.
Return on Equity improved to 15.66 percent while non-performing loan ratio was maintained at 3.07 percent, comfortably above the five percent regulatory threshold, reflecting strong credit risk management. – TML
